Commercial transparency

A relationship must be visible before a result is

PlayCheck BD currently has no gambling affiliate links, sponsored operator placements or published scores. Every candidate is recorded with an explicit relationship state, including “unknown.”

Current edition

No operator links. No revenue positions.

The first version is a public-interest risk register. It stores candidate URLs privately for monitoring but does not provide registration, deposit or “play” links to readers.

Required labels

Four relationship states readers can understand.

“Independent” is not used as a blanket claim. Independence is evaluated per operator record.

01

No relationship

No ownership, sponsorship, affiliate deal or other known commercial connection.

02

Affiliate relationship

Compensation may depend on a referral. The label must appear next to the result and cannot affect the score.

03

Publisher-owned or related

The publisher, an owner or a related party has an ownership or operational interest. This is the highest-conflict label.

04

Sponsored

A fixed payment supports visibility. Sponsored material must remain outside the evidence-based ranking.

If a related site is added later

Disclosure is necessary, but it is not enough.

A publisher-owned or related gambling service cannot be quietly inserted into a comparison. The ownership relationship must appear beside every score and list position. It must pass the same identity, licence and evidence gates, with no manual score boost and no suppressed caveats.

Because Bangladesh currently prohibits online gambling and its promotion, legal review is required before any operator link or commercial integration can be considered. The absence of a link is the default.

Operators may submit corrections.

Corrections require a source. A brand-controlled statement is labelled as a claim until independently corroborated.

Payments cannot remove risk findings.

Commercial value is excluded from scoring. Material corrections are dated in the public change log.
